The final day of the International 3 Kings Snooker Tournament was a high-class conclusion in terms of both sport and organization. From the round of 16 onwards, the tournament took a turn that surprised even experienced observers and generated great enthusiasm among players, spectators on site, and livestream viewers.
Surprises in the knockout stage
The round of 16 and quarterfinals offered snooker at the very highest level – with several unexpected results:
- Rafael Giger made an early statement with a clear 2-0 victory over Losi. An impressive performance that is considered one of the biggest surprises of the tournament.
- Thomas Moser defeated the 2023 champion 2-1 in a high-class match, underlining his excellent form in the tournament.
- There was a lot of emotion surrounding the victory of Diana Stateczny, who prevailed in a direct duel against her boyfriend Suphi Yalman.
- In a tactical masterpiece, Thomas Moser then also defeated Ralf Waschkewitz and deservedly advanced to the final.

A world-class final
The final was the sporting highlight of the tournament. Richard Wienold was in impressive form and played almost flawlessly. His opponent, Khmelevsky Dennys, could only watch as Wienold dominated frame after frame.
The spectators at Patricks Rankweil were thrilled by this extraordinary performance, and over 400 viewers simultaneously watched the final via livestream. This is impressive proof of the growing international significance of the tournament.

Outlook for 2027 – the next big step
We are already looking ahead:
A significant expansion is planned for 2027 – 64 players, four tournament days, and an even more professional environment.
With Thomas Cesal (organizer of the German Masters) and Jürgen Kesseler (organizer of the German Snooker Tour), two renowned personalities have already pledged their support to lead the tournament “into a new era and new spheres.”
In addition, Heinz Peter Henn from Premium announced additional prizes worth over €1,000.
